Capitalist economic systems are now on collapse path. It is a matter of time to see its death like what happened to Marxian economics in communist countries. Any ad hoc solutions would not do any good to humankind. What is written in this blog is the temporary solution to come out from the present unemployment crisis. It is natural for the labor community to feel the pinch due to present crisis. Capitalists and industrialists are least worried about employment of people. They are interested in maximising their profits and nothing else. Employees are removed during the boom period to maximise investments in machines and technology instead of in manpower. During recession and depression too they remove employees under the excuse of economizing the production activities. Both way the employees are the losers. Why then stay in such an economic society? Why not each human being aspires to become a capitalist-cum-workers (though on a small scale) of his own porudction set-up? One may question this proposal because he/she is afraid of own skills and knowledge to earn own income from own activities. Nature has provided enough innovative and defensive brain to survive in any odd situation like in slums. What he/she needs is the proper economic system and atmosphere to carry out this kind of own production activity to earn enough income for leading a decent life style. This will need the change of economic system and create a new one where it could be made possible by non-privileged people of this world.
Today the world is facing several problems such as global warming, pollutions of all kind, increasing poverty, increasing criminalization, increasing greediness of rich people (capitalists and industrialists), food's artificial shortages, increasing unemployment, inflation and depression, economic exploitation of poor by rich people, threat to the survival of mankind and also to the planet itself, and many others. These have roots in capitalism itself. These were known to all great economists of the world, right from the beginning of last century.
What we need is the solution which should be eternal and capable of taking care of all the people of this beautiful planet. Consumerism is the criterio of capitalist economic system. We need to win over this negative side of the life style of the mankind.
A new economic system providing enough income of living to each human being as per his/her own skills, inflation-free world, warfare-free world, exploitation-free world, development of moral character of the human being, in true sense of free competition (today it is monopoly competition sold by economists as free competition), infrastructure support (technology training, means and tools for production, finance at zero rate of interest, omnipotent state to ensure exploitation-free society, totally eco-friendly economic systems, totally decentralized economic activities, violence-free world, provision for each person of this world to lead a decent life-style as a right, minimum gap between rich and poor in society, natural laws instead of man-made laws (patents, trade marks, limited liability corporations, copyrights, trade unions, etc) for zero exploitation of a person by other privileged person/s, etc.
This is possible as Mahatma Gandhi had visualised and backed by all modern economics theories. It is based on Hindu ethos of simple life and high thinking, consumerism-free lifestyle, and balancing ecological gift of the Nature. The book "HINDU-ECONOMICS" written by an Indian economist was presented in 1993 to the world thinkers to shift from capitalism and Marxian economics to new eternally satisfying economic life of the mankind of this world. Author of this book is Dr. M G Bokare and the second edition of the book is now available from http://www.pothi.com . Those who are looking at an alternative and hastle-free economic system and wishes to have high cultured human society in this world should study this new economics book.
